LayerLock™ Earns APR Design® for Recyclability Recognition

Published Date:

Graham has been recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for meeting the highest criteria for recyclability according to the APR Design® Guide for Plastics Recyclability for LayerLock ™ Multilayer.

LayerLock ™ Multilayer is our proprietary barrier technology for PET, designed to not only protect the product inside, but also remain fully recyclable. By locking out oxygen, LayerLock™ Multilayer locks in freshness thus increasing a product’s shelf life.

APR Design® for Recyclability Recognition provides third-party validation that a package or packaging component’s design is compatible with the North American recycling system. This process confirms the item meets or exceeds the strictest guidance criteria of the Critical Guidance Recognition pathway.

This achievement demonstrates Graham’s continued commitment to sustainable packaging innovation while also helping us meet our clients’ goals for recyclable packaging, provide additional credibility and visibility, and ultimately, help improve the supply of high-quality PCR to use in future packaging.
