Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer

Tracee Auld

As chief strategy and sustainability officer of Graham Packaging, Tracee Auld is responsible for commercial acceleration, marketing and the sustainability strategy of the company. Auld has held several executive leadership roles during her five years at Graham, including most recently chief general counsel. Auld has a wealth of international and legal leadership experience, including general counsel of Graham Packaging International and Closures Systems International, as well as M&A experience from her time at Rank Group. 

With a strong history of commercial acumen and a sense of being a true business partner to stakeholders, Auld has extensive experience in the M&A space, and more than 13 years of experience in the packaging industry. A lawyer by trade, Auld uses strategic and analytic thinking to remove roadblocks and put tools in place to help organizations meet their objectives.

An action-biased leader, Auld not only served as chief general counsel after arriving at Graham, but also began the company’s sustainability department in July 2018, leading to the establishment of a world-class program and her being named chief sustainability officer. In her role, Auld also oversaw the transformation of the marketing department, tying the marketing strategy of Graham to its sustainability platform, and setting up a market data and analytics function as part of an expanded team. Named chief strategy officer in January 2021, Auld currently leads Graham in its quest to meet its strategic pillar objectives. Known to deliver in extremely tough circumstances, Auld drives results through building exceptional teams.

Education: Auld received a bachelors of arts and bachelor of laws from the University of Victoria.
