Rolfe Olsen

Before joining Graham, Rolfe Olsen was division vice president of Sonoco’s rigid plastics business, serving the world’s largest food companies within the prepared foods and sauces industry.  Prior to serving as the general manager for rigid plastics, she held progressive commercial leadership roles across multiple packaging platforms, including paper-based and flexible packaging. She has also served as marketing manager for Sonoco’s recycling business.

With more than 30 years of experience, Olsen has demonstrated the ability to succeed within highly matrixed organizations, leading cross functional teams and managing complex global customer relationships. She has been regularly tasked to lead teams to pursue new ideas for organizational design, and corporate growth processes. In her most recent role at Sonoco, she demonstrated the ability to drive profitable growth within a declining business segment through innovation and business development, and to achieve high levels of employee engagement and customer satisfaction through extreme demand volatility, supply chain crisis, and operational challenges brought by the global pandemic.

Olsen has been recognized for her commitment to mentoring young professionals, and has served as an executive sponsor of Sonoco’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, focused primarily on the Women’s Business Resource Group. She is passionate about servant leadership, team culture, cross functional collaboration, and talent development.  In her community, she has served as a district leader for Toastmaster’s International, and has held board member positions of Keep the Midlands Beautiful. She is a lifetime member of the United States Tennis Association.

Education: Olsen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from South Carolina College, the University of South Carolina’s honors program and an MBA with concentration in finance from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of business.
