Desen Lu
As senior vice-president of procurement and supply chain since September 2021, Desen Lu leads the Graham Packaging procurement and supply chain teams. Prior to starting at Graham as a vice president of sourcing in May 2019, Lu had a long history in sourcing and supply chain management, including as vice president, head of sourcing and director of strategic sourcing at FRAM Group, and advancing leadership roles in supply management, product management and project management at General Electric for 11 years.
Lu has an extensive background in supply chain and procurement with more than 20 years of experience. An accomplished leader with a diverse experience in multiple areas of business, Lu oversees sourcing and supplier management, including contracts, purchasing, travel, supplier diversity, and more. An excellent builder of relationships, Lu’s executive experience covers a broad spectrum of functions and verticals in international corporations, large and small, and includes marketing, project management, sourcing, strategic planning, supply chain and procurement. During his time at Graham, Lu has overseen the digitization of the procurement and supply chain process, including using data analytics that are used for long- and short-term asset planning.

Education: Lu earned his executive MBA from the University of Illinois College of Business.
