Changing the Landscape of the Market

We've played a major role in changing the household products market by helping to lead the transition of laundry detergents, dishwashing detergents, and household cleaners from powders packaged in paper-based containers to liquids packaged in plastic containers.

We're a leading supplier of plastic containers for liquid fabric-care products, dish-care products, and hard-surface cleaners, among other products.

Holding the Lead

O-I Plastic, now part of Graham Packaging, pioneered the use of plastic containers for household products with the 1959 introduction of the plastic bleach bottle for Clorox.

The tradition continues and grows. We specialize in bold design and innovative technology that give our customers significant brand-building advantages.

From the eye-catching look of a new bottle for Procter & Gamble's Downy Simple Pleasures fabric softener, to the proprietary process that's powering the evolution of dual-chamber containers, to continuous improvements in manufacturing productivity, we're staying a step ahead.

Introducing the Plastic Canister

The Scotts Company, L.L.C., a worldwide leader in lawn and garden products, turned to us when it needed a re-sealable, moisture-resistant container to replace its cardboard container for Miracle-Gro® products.

We came up with a new-look, mono-layer, blow-molded plastic canister resistant to the elements and able to be stored outside without disintegrating, a key benefit to both retailers and consumers.

Rich Foster, senior brand manager for Miracle-Gro Plant Food, calls it a "win-win-win scenario" for Scotts, retailers, and consumers.
